Last year, I worked with horse owners and riders from all walks of life—different levels, different disciplines, and even different corners of the world. But there was one thing that stood out to me more than anything else: fear.
It’s a feeling I’ve encountered in two forms:
1️⃣ The fear of failing. That gnawing doubt that you might never figure out what’s wrong with your horse. The emotional drain of trying every treatment, every professional, every test—only to feel like you're losing more faith (and money) with every attempt.
2️⃣ The fear of success. Yes, you read that right. The fear that after maxing out your savings, pouring your heart and soul into getting your horse sound again, they might not stay sound for very long.
We’re all familiar with both types of fear. And trust me, I’ve ridden the emotional rollercoaster of both!
But here’s the thing: as an animal chiropractor and someone deeply passionate about helping horses thrive, I’ve realised something powerful. The best way to conquer these fears?
